Chris G. Curry is the principal of the Sweeney & Associates, Inc. office in Orange,
California. Mr. Curry has over 10 years experience in irrigation design while employed
with a landscape architecture firm and a large design build landscape contracting
company. His broad knowledge of the landscape industry is extremely helpful in the
design of cost effective, yet water conservative, irrigation systems. Mr. Curry is a
graduate of the Landscape Irrigation Science program at Cal Poly Pomona, the only
irrigation specific program of study at the university level in the United States.
In addition to his duties in managing the Orange office, Mr. Curry has designed irrigation systems ranging from custom residential to multi-phase master planned communities of over 2,200 homes. His designs have included low flow drip irrigation commercial systems, large sports fields requiring booster pumps, freeway slopes for Caltrans, and on structure podium projects. Mr. Curry's key responsibilities within the firm include coordination and design of irrigation systems, installation details, written specifications.
